Charlwood Pay: £13.00 - £13.45 per hour (Depending on experience)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

3-Month Contract Immediate Start Available Berry Recruitment is recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join a well-established team in Charlwood. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll help ensure the site remains safe, well-maintained, and fully operational for staff, visitors, and service users.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks Completing general building repairs and maintenance Basic plumbing, painting, decorating, and furniture repairs Monitoring fire alarms, emergency lighting, and site facilities Maintaining external areas including pathways, car parks, and storage areas Undertaking gardening and grounds maintenance duties Supporting contractors on-site and completing maintenance records Requirements:
Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, caretaker, or handyman role Strong practical and problem-solving skills Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks Plumbing or electrical experience would be advantageous Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently Benefits:
