We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Director to join our leadership team in Poole.

Our Manchester branch includes a talented team of Account Executives
, supported by our Commercial leadership. To strengthen our leadership capacity and ensure continued support for the team, we are now looking to appoint a Commercial Director
.

About the Role

As Commercial Director, you will report directly to the Branch Director (or Regional Director in the interim) and lead a team of highly skilled Account Executives. Your role will be pivotal in driving growth, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Account Executives, fostering high performance and professional growth
  • Manage and grow a profitable book of business, ensuring strong client retention
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our commercial insurance portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
  • Support the Branch Director in achieving business objectives and ensuring compliance
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a senior insurance role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • A track record of managing and growing a profitable book of business
  • Strategic thinking with a hands on approach to achieving targets
  • Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII, Dip CII) are desirable
