What you will do
- Lead a dynamic team of advanced practitioners, focusing on the enhancement of learning and continuous practice development within the Safeguarding and Children’s Services.
- Oversee the ASYE programme, taking a leading role in redesigning the current framework to align with national reforms into the Early Career Development Programme.
- Manage the Social Work Career and Qualification Pathway, including supporting student placements, regional programmes, and apprenticeship schemes.
- Act as the main point of contact in your role as LADO, ensuring compliance with safeguarding responsibilities and guidelines under Working Together 2018.
Requirements of the Team Manager
- A degree or equivalent in social work and a current Social Work England registration.
- Recent managerial experience in children’s services.
- Proven track record as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
