Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD) Leiston, Suffolk Up to £55,000 per annum  benefits Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Manager looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee a children’s residential home in Leiston, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Role As the Ofsted Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and outcomes for children and young people. You will lead and inspire a team to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment that promotes stability, personal growth, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Register with Ofsted as the Home’s Registered Manager Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards Lead, develop, and support a dedicated care team Deliver high-quality care plans tailored to individual needs Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals Drive continuous improvement and achieve positive inspection outcomes Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance processes Requirements Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or Deputy ready to step up) within children’s residential care Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and EBD services Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards) Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people Full UK driving licence What’s On Offer Salary up to £55,000 (dependent on experience) Performance-related bonuses (if applicable) Supportive senior leadership team Ongoing professional development and training Opportunity to shape and develop a high-quality service Generous holiday allowance and benefits package Why Join Us?
