Gillespie Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established, values-driven care provider to recruit a Registered Manager for a residential service based in Newcastle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to take full leadership of a service, driving quality, compliance, and team development while ensuring residents experience a true sense of home.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, performance, and quality of the service. You will create a positive, inclusive environment where residents feel safe, valued, and at home, while supporting your team to deliver exceptional care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the day-to-day management of the service, creating a positive and values-driven culture
* Ensuring delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care in line with CQC standards
* Maintaining compliance, overseeing audits, and driving continuous improvement
* Recruiting, developing, and motivating staff to build a high-performing team
* Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
* Managing budgets and ensuring efficient operational performance
About You
Essential:
* Experience in a Registered Manager or senior leadership role within the care sector
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities
