Process Operator

About the Role

Operate a simple line/machine/palletizer or support operating a production line for hygiene products, manufacturing products according to fixed specifications and Standard Operating Procedures. As member of the shift team the Operator is responsible for the performance of the machine.

• Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others too.
• Run the machine and watch the process and if necessary adjust according to Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
• Consult with Team Leader or skilled operators if required.
• Order and prepare raw materials / or products for palletizing and install them on the machine according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain an adequate communication with previous and next shift as well as with other persons involved in running the machine.
• Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation.
• Support others in operating activities.
• Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification rejecting or blocking if necessary.
• Complete all required documentation and data files during production.

• Junior High, High School Diploma or equivalent (not required but preferred).
• Entry-level experience - 0-1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of equipment.
• Exposure to operating basic machinery, handling tools, or performing simple tasks on a production line is beneficial.
