Position: Assembly Operative ( Fitting Annexe)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

We are recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative (Fitting Annexe) – Join a Global Aerospace Leader!

Location:

Denham, UB9 (own transport required)
Salary: £33,000–£34,000 + overtime

Hours:

Mon–Thu 8am–5pm | Fri 8am–12pm (37.5 hrs/week)
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays | Private pension up to 9%

What You’ll Be Doing as an Assembly Operative (Fitting Annexe)
  • Assemble and inspect precision aerospace components and sub‑assemblies
  • Work in a specialist annex where complex assemblies for ejection seats are built and quality‑checked
  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings and follow accurate build instructions
  • Use hand tools, gauges, and inspection equipment with precision
  • Adhere to strict aerospace quality, safety, and traceability standards
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to meet production deadlines
The ideal candidate
  • Experience in assembly, mechanical fitting, or precision manufacturing
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Skilled with hand tools and measurement devices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
