Extrusion Operator - Northamptonshire

Are you an experienced Extrusion Operator looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturer within the packaging industry? This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing production team in a modern, well-equipped facility.

You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic film and sheet products to specification. Working closely with the production and quality teams, you’ll ensure output targets are met safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

• Set up and operate extrusion lines according to production schedules
• Monitor production parameters and make adjustments as needed
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product specifications are met
• Troubleshoot machinery and perform basic maintenance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Record production data accurately and maintain documentation

• Previous experience as an Extrusion Operator (blown film or cast film preferred)
• Strong understanding of extrusion processes and materials
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
