Fabricator Welder Jobs in Newburn at Stannah – Join Our Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn.

This position involves joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques, following drawings produced by our in-house Rail Design Team. You will ensure each product meets quality standards and is completed correctly the first time.

Work schedule:

37 hours per week, permanent. Monday‑Wednesday: 19:45 – 05:45;
Thursday: 19:45 – 04:45. You will receive a 33 % shift uplift during these hours.

• Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification
• Read and interpret detailed product drawings
• Deliver high‑quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow works instructions and health and safety protocols

• Experience in MAG welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
• Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges
