Flexographic Printing Operator

  • Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours:

    Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

We are currently seeking a time-served Flexographic Printing Operator with experience running multi-colour presses to join an established and growing manufacturing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printer to join a busy production environment, producing high-quality printed labels and products to customer specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate and maintain multi-colour flexographic printing presses.
  • Complete print jobs to the required quality standards and within agreed deadlines.
  • Monitor print quality, colour consistency and registration throughout production runs.
  • Carry out routine press maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or print-related issues.
  • Set up presses efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and waste.
  • Work closely with the wider production team to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Complete relevant production and quality documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Time-served or experienced Flexographic Printer/Operator.
  • Proven experience operating multi-colour flexographic printing presses.
  • Experience with embellishments such as hot foil and/or cold foil would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
