* Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an immediate opportunity for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our clients team.
The job you’ll do
* 3 & 4 Axis CNC Milling experience, preferably using ISO, Fanuc or HAAS control systems
* Programming and operation of specific machine tools to produce the work identified on QA route cards, 2D drawings and electronic files, to meet customer specifications and tolerances at all times.
* Working with carbon, non-ferrous, exotic and engineering plastics.
* Completion and sign-off of all necessary QA documentation to confirm that all relevant stages of work have been completed to the specified standard.
* Completion of simple day-today machine tool maintenance and good housekeeping in and around your own working environment.
* Selecting, setting and changing cutting tools, loading and unloading of CNC machine tools and fixtures.
* Working as part of the manufacturing team, co-ordinating with other departments including material control, other manufacturing activities, process planning and quality.
* To follow, at all times, the requirements of the company’s Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety policy and procedures and the responsibilities.
About you
* The ideal candidate will be a qualified, fully skilled, time-served engineer, with a minimum of two years CNC Milling experience.
* Minimum two years CNC programming/setting and operating experience, working to tight tolerances.
* Confident, working knowledge of ISO and/or Fanuc programming (HAAS programming experience would be advantageous).
* Manufacture of first-offs conforming to customer drawing and quality specifications.
* Experience with use of calibrated inspection equipment and current quality control procedures, adhering to ISO 9001:2015.
* The ability to work under your own initiative, strong communication skills and a positive approach to work.
