Shift Manager

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Our Client:
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing FMCG manufacturing business in the Newcastle area that is investing heavily in its operation and expanding production capacity. As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Production Shift Manager to join their leadership team and play a key role in driving performance, safety and team engagement.

The Role:

Reporting into the Production Manager, you'll lead a large production team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for day-to-day operational performance, people management, training, workforce planning and continuous improvement, while helping to support the site's ongoing growth plans.

About You:

Experienced leader from a production or manufacturing environment. Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Comfortable managing KPIs, staffing, training and operational performance. Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but candidates from other fast-paced manufacturing sectors will also be considered. Positive, hands-on approach with the ability to bring structure, fresh ideas and continuous improvement expertise.
