£13.94 - £15.80 per hour + Company Benefits and Overtime
A great opportunity has arisen with one of our long-standing engineering clients for a permanent Factory Operative to join their Casting department in the Medway area, initially on a temporary basis with an opportunity for a permanent role.
Training will take place on the day shift-Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30;
Friday 06:00-14:30 with a pay rate of £13.94 per hour during training. After successful completion, the job will transfer to nights, Monday-Thursday , with an hourly rate of £15.80 per hour.
Previous factory or manufacturing experience is required, but full training will be provided.
The Role- Operating and loading/unloading robots
- Carrying out hand dipping
- Mixing and testing slurry
- Operating the boilerclave
- Processing components in line with work instructions
- Completing production records and job cards
- Carrying out quality checks
- Following health & safety procedures and using PPE correctly
- Carrying out manual handling duties safely
- Experienced in a factory or manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Able to follow written instructions and procedures
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality
- A good team player with strong communication skills
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Willing to learn and complete relevant training
Full training will be provided for the role, making this a great opportunity to develop your skills within an established engineering environment.
