The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, commercially driven organisation where marketing directly fuels sales and business growth.

The Senior Marketing & Design Executive role offers genuine ownership, variety, and development. You will play a central role in managing a live, revenue‑critical website while also supporting high‑impact marketing campaigns designed to generate qualified leads across multiple business sectors.

This is a hands‑on, career‑building role for a marketing professional who enjoys seeing their work translated into real commercial outcomes and who wants to deepen their expertise across website management, SEO, creative production, and campaign execution.

The role is broadly split as follows:

  • Approximately 50% website ownership and optimisation
  • Approximately 50% campaign and creative execution support
Why This Role Is Different
  • Own and develop a commercial website, not simply upload content
  • Support live B2B marketing campaigns that are directly linked to sales performance
  • Work across multiple channels, including digital, email, social, direct mail, and partner marketing
  • Gain exposure to campaign planning, execution, and performance measurement
  • Work closely with experienced senior marketers who actively develop and mentor their team

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long‑term marketing career in a business where marketing is visible, valued, and results‑driven.

Key Responsibilities
  • Website Management & Digital Optimisation (circa 50%)
    • Take day‑to‑day ownership of the company website, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging, and conversion‑focused
    • Work within a CMS environment (Word Press highly desirable) to manage content, landing pages, and updates
    • Apply content and technical SEO best practice, including metadata, headings, internal linking, and page structure
    • Use basic UX and web‑design principles to improve usability and lead conversion
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure website content supports sales and lead‑generation objectives
  • Campaign & Creative Execution (circa 50%)
    • Support delivery of B2B marketing campaigns across websites, introducer marketing, and sector‑focused activity
    • Produce creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite, including social posts, email headers, banners, and simple print
    • Support email, social, digital, and direct‑mail campaign execution
    • Provide creative and production support on wider campaigns as required, with increasing ownership over time
Candidate Profile
  • Education
    • Minimum 2:1 degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or a related subject
  • Experience & Exposure
    • Demonstrable hands‑on experience supporting or managing a commercial website
    • Exposure to B2B marketing environments is preferred, particularly where activity is focussed on lead generation and sales support
    • Relevant B2C marketing experience will also be considered where it demonstrates transferable skills
    • Experience supporting marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, or partner channels
  • Technical & Creative Skills
    • Working knowledge of CMS platforms (Word Press preferred)
    • Practical understanding of SEO, including content and technical fundamentals
    • Competent user of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
    • Strong written English with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging copy
Personal Attributes
  • Commercially aware and motivated by measurable results
  • Curious, proactive, and keen to develop marketing expertise
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment
  • Collaborative, reliable, and eager to learn
Career Development & Progression

This role is designed to grow with the individual. As capability and confidence develop, there will be opportunities to:

  • Take increased ownership of campaign delivery
  • Develop deeper expertise in digital, SEO, or performance marketing
  • Progress into senior campaign, digital, or marketing management roles

The business actively supports internal development and rewards initiative, accountability, and commercial thinking.
