Global Chief Marketing Officer – Founder-Led International DTC Brand Location
Ideally UK, or France / Spain / Poland (Remote flexibility with occasional travel)
SalaryUp to c £160k + Equity Potential
About the OpportunityWe are partnering with a fast-growing, founder‑led international DTC brand, with future funding secured, to appoint their first Global CMO – a pivotal hire who will shape the brand’s next stage of growth and report directly into the Founder.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for a marketing leader who will live and breathe the brand, driving growth across multiple regions and channels, spotting emerging consumer trends, and bringing new products to market with speed.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the global marketing strategy, with a focus on DTC growth across Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Lead email marketing, paid acquisition, and guerrilla campaigns, ensuring measurable ROI while scaling brand awareness.
- Identify and implement new product launches, ensuring they align with brand positioning and market trends.
- Act as a brand guardian, maintaining consistency across all customer touchpoints and geographies.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing marketing team, establishing frameworks, KPIs, and processes for scalable growth.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and Founder to identify opportunities for innovation and business expansion.
- Use data and insights to drive decision‑making, optimise campaigns, and improve customer acquisition and retention.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner, helping shape overall business priorities beyond marketing.
- Recent proven success scaling multi‑million‑pound DTC businesses to tens or hundreds of millions in revenue.
- Strong expertise in email marketing, paid acquisition, content, and guerrilla marketing campaigns.
- Broad marketing skill set with commercial and analytical acumen, able to balance creative strategy with measurable outcomes.
- Experience in fast‑growth, founder‑led environments, ideally across multiple international markets.
- Ability to operate with autonomy and entrepreneurial mindset, treating the brand as your own business.
- Comfortable with high pace, agility, and strategic decision‑making, thriving in dynamic, evolving environments.
- Be the first CMO in a globally ambitious, founder‑led DTC business.
- High autonomy with equity potential and direct impact on brand direction.
- Flexible working options: based in the UK, France, Spain, or Poland.
- Work alongside the CEO (also being appointed) and Founder to shape the global business strategy.
