Her Advocate is a specialist, relationship-based advocacy role supporting women experiencing complex motherhood, particularly where pregnancy or early parenting intersects with child protection processes.
This role goes beyond traditional advocacy. You will confidently represent women in care team and child protection meetings, challenge statutory processes where necessary, and ensure women's progress and recovery achievements are clearly evidenced and recognised. The salary reflects the level of responsibility, professionalism and tenacity required.
We are looking for someone with significant experience working in a child protection environment who understands how safeguarding and statutory systems operate and can navigate them with confidence, credibility, and emotional intelligence.
You will contribute not only to direct advocacy but also to the ongoing development and learning of the Her Advocate model as part of a five-year funded programme focused on reducing avoidable child removal.
