Action Foundation is an award-winning charity that supports and empowers asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in the North East to overcome immediate barriers, integrate with the community, and build skills for the future. We’re looking for a Communications and Campaigns Officer to join the team to raise the profile of the work we do and increase awareness of the issues facing the people we serve.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join Action Foundation at a pivotal point in our strategy development. You’ll be part of the Business Development and Communications Team, contributing to creative campaigns, growing our audience and helping us build stronger connections with volunteers, supporters, donors and partners. You will help shape how we tell our story, challenge misconceptions, build understanding of migration issues and strengthen our profile across the region.
This role is ideal if you enjoy balancing long‑term planning with responding to emerging opportunities, trends and media stories.
You will be joining a supportive and diverse team and an inclusive workplace. We are happy to accommodate hybrid working (a minimum of 3 days per week in our Newcastle office), support opportunities for personal growth and offer the following benefits:
