, our female adult acute inpatient ward based at Bamburgh Clinic, St Nicholas Hospital
, part of Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW).

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals experiencing acute mental health difficulties. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting recovery and achieving positive outcomes for patients.

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based care, working collaboratively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary colleagues to develop and deliver individualised care plans. You will support patients through periods of acute mental ill health, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and recovery remain at the centre of care delivery.

You will need to be able to work calmly and effectively in challenging situations, make sound clinical decisions, and respond positively to changing service demands while maintaining a compassionate and recovery-focused approach. The role also involves supporting Nursing Assistants, students, and newly qualified staff, contributing to a positive learning and professional development culture within the ward team.
