This is a permanent OOH position working a 1 week on, 3 weeks off rotation - 7 continuous night shifts followed by 3 weeks off in a 4-week cycle. They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who is ECC trained - or keen to develop their ECC skills in a supportive environment. A calm, confident approach to emergency and critical care cases is key, and the team will actively support further training and qualifications.
This well-equipped small animal practice in County Durham is part of the Vet Partners family - recently awarded Employer of the Year - offering the warmth of a close-knit team backed by the resources of a larger group. The practice boasts an impressive array of in-house equipment, including:
- In-house laboratory
- CT scanner (pending installation)
- Digital X-ray and ultrasound
- Upper and lower GI tract endoscopes

- Salary up to £43,000 DOE with annual pay reviews
- 1 week on, 3 weeks off rotation
