Potensis is pleased to partner with a well-regarded residential developer you are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Manager.

This role will play a key part in strengthening governance and quality performance across a portfolio of housing-led developments to ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

Reporting into the Group Director, you will act as a central point for quality oversight across multiple projects. You will support audit readiness, enhance compliance processes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout project teams and supply chain partners.

This is a hands‑on role requiring both operational involvement and strategic awareness of risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead preparation activities for internal and external audits, ensuring readiness at all times
  • Review and oversee project‑specific quality documentation including quality plans, inspection and test documentation, and compliance records
  • Conduct structured quality and risk assessments across live projects
  • Verify that construction works align with approved drawings, contract requirements, and technical specifications
  • Identify, document, and manage non‑conformances, ensuring effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented
  • Maintain accurate and auditable quality records including inspections, certifications, and test results
  • Monitor subcontractor and supplier quality performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide clear quality performance updates to project and senior management teams
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and site teams to promote strong quality standards and proactive risk management
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of quality systems and procedures
About You

You are an experienced quality professional with a strong understanding of compliance within construction or engineering environments. You combine technical awareness with strong organisational and communication skills.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a construction, engineering, or technical compliance setting
  • Solid knowledge of contract compliance, inspection processes, and quality control principles
  • Practical involvement in audit coordination and preparation
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and potential risks
  • Confidence working independently while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both site teams and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset
  • Professional integrity and commitment to best practice standards
