Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 | £13.57 per hour
Night
Shift: Monday to Friday, 21:30 - 06:30 | £15.53 per hour
We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and expanding food manufacturing business in Newcastle-under-Lyme and are looking to speak with Quality Assurance and Quality Control professionals interested in either day or night shift opportunities.

The Role
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications, food safety standards, and legal requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out food safety, quality, due diligence, and legal compliance checks.
Complete start-up, temperature, metal detection, X-ray, and label verification checks.
Monitor product weights, sizes, and specifications during production.
Verify recipe accuracy and ingredient measurements.
Review production paperwork and traceability records.
Investigate and manage non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
Maintain accurate quality documentation and records.
Ensure GMP and hygiene standards are maintained across site.
Conduct routine product sampling and quality inspections.
Support customer visits, audits, and compliance activities.
Work closely with Production and Technical teams to drive quality standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
What We're Looking For
Food Safety Level 2 qualification.
Experience with in a QA, QC, or food manufacturing environment.
Understanding of HACCP and food safety principles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
