Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Northumbria University seeks a talented researcher for a 24-month fixed-term post starting October 2026. You will support a UKRI/EPSRC-funded project investigating innovative wind turbine blade designs inspired by whales and owls.
Applicants should have a PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related fields. The role includes conducting wind tunnel experiments and developing CFD simulations, with a focus on bio-inspired design methodologies.
