They are now seeking an experienced Principal Scientist to provide expertise on technical aspects of product development and drive current and future technologies to market.

The role

As part of an established R&D team, the Principal Scientist will provide expertise in assay design across multiple R&D projects, manage project delivery, and work cross‑departmentally with a problem‑solving mindset to ensure successful outcomes.

Alongside practical capabilities in interpretation and scoring of Immunohistochemistry slides, the role requires a strong commercial outlook toward future strategy and system development.

Suitable applicants Required experience
  • Strong hands‑on immunohistochemistry experience, particularly IHC slide scoring and interpretation.
  • Industry experience within assay development, product development, antibody development, diagnostics, medical devices or a regulated development environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ISO standards, IVDR, FDA and BSI.

  • Strong documentation, process adherence and ability to work in a development‑led rather than purely research‑led lab environment.
Advantageous experience

  • Experience with HALO or similar digital pathology/image analysis software.
Package
