Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Head Chef position is available at an award winning four star country hotel, which is part of a group of quality hotels. The hotel is a busy dining venue with a fine dining award winning restaurant serving seasonally fresh, modern British dishes. The hotel also hosts small private events, weddings and exclusive afternoon teas. As a result this Head Chef role will require you to adapt to a number of different cooking styles whilst maintaining the day to day management of the kitchen and the supervision of the team of 10 chefs in the kitchen.
You will have total responsibility for all aspects of food production, from sourcing supplies to delivering customer excellence in the finished dish.
CVs will be considered from Head Chefs, it is important that they highlight experience working in busy kitchens serving multiple dining operations and busy banqueting operations for a minimum of 2 years and with a minimum of 2 Rosette experience. A Head chef who has the drive and ability to push forward standards, be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved
