We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our Senior Kitchen team and help lead the team in delivering a high standard of food.

Responsibilities- Guiding and supporting the Kitchen team, ensuring they have the skills required to deliver an excellent standard of food
- A hands‑on approach, supporting the Head Chef in the day‑day running of the Kitchen
- Planning menus within cost targets
- Controlling food costs and achieving gross profit targets (including monitoring waste)
- Ensuring processes are in place to achieve high standards of cleanliness, consistently
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements

- Proven track record as a Sous chef within a quality hotel
- Ability to lead and effectively supervise the kitchen team
- High standards of hygiene and Health & Safety controls
- Knowledge of computerised ordering system
- Enthusiastic and motivated with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Calm under pressure while maintaining an assertive but professional manner
- The ability to work 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis, weekend work is included
