Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant / Driver to join our team at Harlow Hill, NE15 0RF
. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to take on a varied role, combining customer service, catering support and driving responsibilities within a busy operational environment.

As a General Service Assistant / Driver, you will provide support across a range of catering and facilities services while also carrying out delivery and driving duties as required. This is a hands‑on role that requires flexibility, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Supporting day-to-day catering and hospitality operations
• Serving food and beverages and providing excellent customer service
• Assisting with food preparation and maintaining clean working areas
• Carrying out delivery and driving duties safely and professionally
• Loading, unloading and transporting goods and supplies as required
• Completing relevant paperwork and delivery records accurately
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and health & safety compliance
• Using IT systems to complete online training and onboarding requirements
• Supporting colleagues to ensure the smooth running of services

• £12.71 per hour
• 35 hours per week
• 5 days from 7 on a rotating two-week shift pattern, including early and late shifts

• Full UK driving licence with a good driving record
• Must be aged 25 or over for driving insurance purposes
• Previous experience in a customer service, catering, delivery or support role is desirable
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic IT skills and confidence using online systems for onboarding and training
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and reliable approach to work
• Strong awareness of health & safety requirements

A Basic DBS check is required for this role.

Please note that applicants must be 25 years of age or over to meet driving insurance requirements. Basic IT skills are essential to complete onboarding activities and mandatory online training.
