Estimator​/Account Management - Southern Counties Dependent

Overview

Our Client is an established and successful producer of custom presentation products including ring binders, folders, and media packaging. They seek an additional member of staff to work in their sales team as an account manager and estimator.

The role will predominantly entail putting together quotes for qualified leads and following up these quotes at a suitable time.

• Take and make phone calls to and from customers.
• Listen to customers and ask questions to find out more about their needs.
• Suggest solutions from the range of products offered.
• Quote standard products using a comprehensive pricing system or prices available on the website.
• Provide solutions and quote for non‑standard products based on cost of materials and labour.
• Follow up leads at suitable points until the order is confirmed or lost.
• Update customer and order information in the system.
• Take orders.
• Keep in touch with key clients using the Customer Relationship Management software.

• Background in print or related industry.
• Ability to interpret customer brief and provide pricing solutions.
• Experience with cost estimation for standard and non‑standard products.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.

Negotiable – dependent on experience. Approx £25 k per annum for a more senior role, or £18.5‑22 k per annum for a less senior role.

9 am‑5 pm with a half‑hour lunch break, or 9 am‑5.30 pm with a one‑hour lunch break.
