The Role
We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Key Account Manager to help grow our presence across the convenience, impulse and food‑to‑go channel.
This role is ideal for someone currently working in an Account Executive, Junior NAM or sales support role within FMCG or convenience, who is ready to step up and take ownership of customer relationships and commercial delivery.
You’ll manage a portfolio of customers including symbol groups, wholesalers, forecourts and convenience operators, driving growth through increased distribution, strong in‑store execution and compelling customer partnerships.
This is a highly visible, hands‑on role with plenty of opportunity to develop your career within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of a portfolio of convenience and impulse customers, delivering against sales and growth targets
- Build and execute practical account plans focused on distribution, availability and rate of sale
- Support and progressively lead joint business planning conversations with customers
- Negotiate commercial agreements and promotional activity aligned to the channel
- Identify and unlock opportunities across symbol groups, wholesalers and forecourt networks
- Work with customers to introduce new products and food‑to‑go solutions
- Collaborate closely with Field Sales, Marketing and Customer Services to ensure strong execution
- Analyse sales performance, identifying opportunities and taking action to drive results
- Spend time in the field, building relationships and understanding how products land in‑store
- Support and guide field teams to maximise impact at store level
- Delivery against sales targets and growth KPIs
- Increased distribution and improved in‑store execution
- Strong customer relationships and engagement

Effective collaboration with internal and field teams What We’re Looking For- Experience in convenience, wholesale, impulse or food‑to‑go channels
- Currently operating in an Account Executive, Sales Executive or similar role, ready to step up
- Strong commercial awareness with a desire to develop negotiation and account ownership skills
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with a willingness to get into stores and understand execution
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel regularly to customers and sites across the UK
- Ambition to grow your career within FMCG sales
