Product Specialist – Construction – Bedfordshire (Hybrid Working Available) – £40,000 + Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for a technically skilled Product Specialist to join a growing construction category team within a leading international organisation. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of parts and components used in servicing and maintaining compact construction and earth‑moving equipment. You’ll combine technical expertise with a commercial mindset to support customers, influence product range decisions, and drive category performance.

- Provide expert technical advice on construction equipment parts and components
- Respond to customer enquiries with tailored product recommendations
- Prepare quotations and support customers in selecting the right solutions
- Assist customers in making effective use of the company webshop
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing developments
- Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities within the category
- Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with customer needs
- Background in technical, commercial, agricultural or construction engineering
- Strong knowledge of parts used in maintaining and repairing compact construction equipment
- Understanding of components such as undercarriage systems, hydraulics, filtration, wear parts and cab components
- Familiarity with commonly used machinery and leading brands within the UK market
- Customer‑focused, solution‑oriented mindset
- Commercial awareness and interest in the construction sector
- Confidence working with systems, data and digital tools
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive and self‑motivated approach
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
Package- £40,000 basic salary DOE with profit sharing scheme
