The Portfolio Business Development Representative is a role focused on signing new and additional products with existing clients to increase return on investment, value proposition, turnover, and profits. The incumbent presents offers, makes sales, and supports database maintenance while driving adoption and revenue growth with current customers.
Responsibilities- Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts, partnering with Account Managers and building trusted relationships with customers.
- Expand and exceed goals within the designated portfolio.
- Present compelling proposals, define pricing models, negotiate, and sign cross‑sell and upsell deals.
- Own the full sales cycle from contract to revenue realization, ensuring all signed opportunities go live and ramp according to plan.
- Track, analyze, and create reports on opportunity activity, particularly on cross‑sell, upsell, and migration processes using the internal CRM tool (Salesforce).
- Fluent in the English language.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior sales experience required.
- Telephone sales experience as a telesales agent or equivalent.
- Self‑starter who enjoys seeking new business opportunities and building strong customer and internal team relationships.
- Experience selling payments and delivering cross‑sell campaigns.
- Comfortable driving revenue growth and product adoption to exceed program revenue and pipeline targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
