Strategic Account Manager – UK Logistics & Industrial Sector
Due to continued growth, a market-leading manufacturer of premium lighting and lighting control solutions is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to drive sales within the UK Logistics & Industrial sector.
The RoleYou will be responsible for developing and securing profitable, specification‑led business across a defined UK logistics market. This is a senior, consultative sales role focused on long‑term relationships with end users, developers and design consultants.
Key Responsibilities- Drive specification and incremental sales across the full lighting and controls portfolio
- Develop strong relationships with logistics, distribution and industrial end users (c.80% focus)
- Manage opportunities from concept to order using SAP CRM
- Secure business via direct sales, contractors and distribution partners
- Deliver sales and marketing strategies through targeted campaigns
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and budgets, implementing corrective actions where required
- Deliver professional sales presentations and manage pricing support mechanisms
- Work collaboratively with UK management, internal teams and external partners
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure excellent customer service
- Proven experience in strategic or high‑value B2B sales (ideally specification‑led)
- Background in technical, construction, lighting or industrial sales preferred
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Confident operating at all levels with customers and internal stakeholders
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working autonomously
- Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- IT‑literate; experience with SAP CRM advantageous
- Competitive base salary (£65–75k)
