At Copthorne Hotel Newcastle, we're looking for a talented and ambitious Cluster Sales Executive to help drive business growth, build lasting client relationships, and showcase everything our iconic Quayside hotel has to offer.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining proactive business development with Sales administration and supporting the wider commercial team to maximise revenue opportunities.

Working closely with the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in generating new business and growing existing accounts across accommodation, meetings, conferences and events.

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities within local and regional markets (through sales research, cold calling and use of market intel)
• Developing existing accounts to increase revenue and client engagement
• Conducting client appointments, networking activities and hotel show rounds
• Supporting meetings, events and reservations activity when required
• Building strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth
• Collaborating with operational teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences
• Contributing to the hotel's sales strategy and commercial objectives

We're seeking a confident and driven sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities and delivering results.

• Previous experience in hotel sales, meetings & events, reservations or a similar commercial role
• A proactive approach to business development and account management
• Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• The confidence to work independently while contributing to a wider team
• Experience using Delphi and/or Opera Cloud (desirable but not essential)
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally to meet clients

As a customer-facing sales role, some evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required for client meetings, networking events and hotel show rounds.
