Position: Door automation Engineer (Auto doors/Gates) (Contract)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Door Automation Engineer (Long-Term Temporary Contract)
V7 are looking for experienced Door Automation Engineers to support a major 5-year public sector contract. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work across housing developments, schools and elderly care facilities throughout the North East, with occasional travel to Scotland (around twice per month).
Our client is a fast-growing national company specialising in fire, security and automated access systems.

The Contract

• Service and maintenance of automatic door systems

• Systems include: RECORD, ASSA ABLOY, TORMAX and similar

• Gate and barrier work available if you have experience in FAAC, CAME, GAZE etc.

• Covering public buildings and residential settings across the North East

• Occasional travel to Scotland (approx. twice per month)

Benefits

• Long-running contract with a national client

• Monday–Friday, with weekend work available

• 6-month rolling contract within a 5-year project

• Up to £40 per hour + overtime

• Outside IR35, paid weekly

• Strong pipeline of ongoing work

Requirements

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining automatic doors

• ADSA certification preferred

• Gate experience beneficial but not essential

• Background working on commercial and residential sites

• DBS required
