Test Automation Engineer

We are partnering with a leading technology consultancy delivering high-performance engineering solutions within financial services and capital markets. They are looking for Graduate Test Automation Engineers to join their Newcastle-based engineering team, working on complex, data-driven systems that underpin critical financial platforms. • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks across financial systems
• Work with engineering, quants, and infrastructure teams to understand requirements
• Design and execute automated testing solutions to ensure system reliability and performance
• Identify issues early in the development lifecycle and support resolution
• Contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and engineering practices

• Degree in a STEM subject (minimum 2:1 preferred)
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or C#
• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Cucumber
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
