Be part of something bigger. Data & Insights:
Building innovative digital products that help shape football decision-making across the club.

We are the heartbeat of the city. A club with bold ambitions on a global stage and deep roots in our community. If you’re driven to raise the bar and make an impact, you’ll find the platform, the people and the pride to do your best work here.

This is a great opportunity to develop, learn and make a real contribution in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

About the role

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to help take Newcastle United’s internal analytics platform beyond its initial release. Working within the Data & Insights team, you will design and build the next generation of user-facing features across web and mobile, helping scouts, analysts, coaches and football operations staff access the insights they need wherever they are.

What you’ll do
  • Design, build and deliver new user-facing features across web and mobile platforms.
  • Extend the platform using React / Expo to create intuitive mobile experiences.
  • Build data-rich dashboards, visualisations, filtering tools and interactive interfaces.
  • Translate design concepts and prototypes into polished, accessible user experiences.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, analysts and football stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
  • Contribute to documentation, standards and continuous improvement across the platform.
The team

You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive and dedicated team who will help you settle in and succeed. We value curiosity, teamwork and a positive approach.

Working in a small, focused Data & Insights team, you will have a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to influence how products are designed, developed and adopted across football operations.

United As One.

We’re committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and believe in equal opportunities for all. We recognise that the diversity of our people is one of our greatest strengths. We work together to reflect the communities we serve and to maintain an inclusive environment in which everyone can be their authentic self and is enabled to achieve their full potential.

Safeguarding

We’re committed to being a place where everyone is safe, heard, valued and able to thrive so we place high value on the safeguarding and welfare of everyone we engage with.
