Headquartered in Newcastle, the business brings together high-calibre technical talent to solve complex problems in demanding environments. They have a growing international footprint and are building a team of engineers working on cutting-edge technology for Defence and National Security.

The Role You'll play a key role in you'll building the data foundations that Defence programmes depend on, working across projects ranging from production data pipelines and applications to POCs and making sensitive or hard-to-reach data usable in operational environments. This is a hands-on role with exposure across the data engineering stack and the opportunity to work on technically challenging, real-world problems.

Responsibilities Design and build data-intensive applications and pipelines, from ingestion through to consumption Test, troubleshoot and improve data quality, reliability and performance Provide technical expertise across projects and client engagements Work flexibly across evolving project requirements Collaborate with engineers and share technical knowledge What We're Looking For Experience designing and building data-intensive applications and pipelines Strong programming skills in Python and SQL or similar
