Sports Coach
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear
Salary: £90 - 110 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Sports Coach to join the team in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to inspire pupils through sport, promote healthy living, and support the development of physical education across the schools.

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons as part of the school’s PPA cover programme.
• Lead engaging extra-curricular sports clubs and prepare pupils for inter-school competitions and School Sports Partnership (SSP) events.
• Promote inclusion and active lifestyles through accessible and inspiring sports activities.
• Take responsibility for organising off-site sporting events, including risk assessments, permissions, and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to enhance the school’s PE and health provision.
• Be a positive role model, encouraging teamwork, perseverance, and fair play.

• Experience delivering PE and/or sports coaching to primary-aged pupils.
• Passion for physical activity and supporting children’s development through sport.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
