Level 1 and Level 2 swimming teachers required to deliver our swim programme.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety of all users of the leisure centre, with special attention to those in swimming lessons.
- Follow training and deliver lessons to a high standard.
- Help deliver the key objectives of the contract and any promotions running at the leisure centre.
- Set out equipment as required.
- Deliver classes as outlined in the swimming timetable, ranging from adult and child to competitive classes.
- Follow the National Plan For Teaching Swimming.
- Maintain a high standard of interaction with customers.
- Complete other duties assigned by the line manager.
- Attend monthly trainings to keep qualifications valid.
- ASA Level 2 Swimming Instructor and NPLQ qualifications.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Positive attitude with customer focus and service skills.
- Additional skills are an advantage.
