Van Driver

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit Cat B (Van) Drivers to support our client based in Newcastle for the foreseeable future.

This is a multi-drop delivery role involving commercial and medical properties across the region.

• Multi-drop delivery of goods to a mix of commercial and medical sites.
• Adhering to a fixed route plan and delivery schedule.
• Early starts and full working days, with shifts beginning at 06:00.
• Monday to Saturday working pattern.
• Completion of all relevant paperwork while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Successful completion of a driving assessment and on-site induction before starting.

• Full UK Category B driving licence.
• Aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements).
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent timekeeping, customer service, and driving skills.
• Able to commit to 6 working days per week.

• Monday to Saturday working pattern.
• 06:00 start times.
• Overtime available and paid after 8 hours per shift.

• £13.50 per hour (PAYE) for the first 12 weeks.
• £14.28 per hour after 12 weeks of continuous work.
• £20.25 per hour overtime rate (after 8 hours Monday to Friday and for all hours worked on weekends).
