Overview

Train Cleaning Team Leader - Night Shift at Heaton Depot. Initial 6-month contract (Temp to Perm). Pay: £15.30 per hour.

• Supervise and guide the night shift train cleaning team to achieve high-quality cleanliness standards before trains resume daily service.
• Ensure safe and efficient cleaning operations in a safety-critical environment.
• Maintain a positive safety and quality culture on shift, and act as a point of contact for team members during the night shift.

• Location:
  
  Heaton Depot.
• Roster: 7-day pattern on a four on/off or five on/off rotation.
• Working hours:
  
  20:00 to 06:00, weekly rolling rota (including weekends).

Ganymede Solutions Ltd recruits for Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Civil, Transportation and general Engineering roles on permanent and contract bases. This role is for a leading UK train operator, supported by Ganymede.

£15.30 per hour on an initial 6-month basis. High performers during the contract may be considered for permanent positions within the organisation.

• Experience in a vehicle/industrial or cleaning environment.
• Previous leadership or team-leading experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to oversee diverse team members and achieve targets.
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering a clean and safe environment for passengers.
• Training provided for depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, will be required as part of safety protocols.
