HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – MORNING OR AFTERNOON SHIFTS – EAST MIDLANDS GATEWAY, DERBYSHIRE People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver – East Midlands Gateway, Derbyshire to join our well-established client based at East Midlands Gateway, Derbyshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering up to £21.35 per hour, consistent Monday to Friday work, morning or afternoon start times, ongoing long-term work and permanent opportunities for the right candidates .

UP TO £21.35 PER HOUR | MONDAY TO FRIDAY | AM & PM STARTS | ONGOING WORK | PERMANENT OPPORTUNITIES | MODERN 23-PLATE VEHICLES This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, CE Driver, Class 1 Trunking Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or HGV Driver . Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Morning and afternoon shifts available
• Morning start times between 04:00 and 06:00
• Afternoon start times between 14:00 and 16:00 Rates of Pay • £17.08 per hour – hours worked between 06:00 and 18:00 • £21.35 per hour – hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00 Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive:

• Thirty-three days' holiday once permanent, aligned with factory shutdowns Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
• Safely operating Category CE vehicles
• Completing three to five trunk runs per day
• Operating curtain-sider trailers
• Securing loads correctly and safely, including awkward loads
• Making timely deliveries to various destinations
• Communicating effectively with the transport team
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Ensuring full compliance with drivers' hours, driving legislation and Working Time Directive requirements Essential Skills
• Valid UK Category CE driving licence
• Valid UK Driver CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of six months' continuous HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Professional and reliable approach to work Training Provided
• Driving assessment required prior to starting
• Three-day paid company induction programme
