This is a fixed-term minibus driving post at Hurworth School, running to 31 July 2027 with a start as soon as possible. The work is moving pupils to and from school safely, with a morning collection before the day begins and the safeguarding duties that come with it. The post is 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday, and a D1 licence is not needed because the school trains for it.
Visa sponsorship is not available, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
- Collect students each morning before school
- Transport students to and from Hurworth School safely
- Provide an efficient and professional transport service to students
- Full, clean driving licence
- At least 2 years' driving experience
- Punctual and reliable
- Flexible and approachable
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities for the role
- Full enhanced DBS check
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Good knowledge of the surrounding areas
