We are working with a wonderful mainstream primary school in Newham who are looking for a number of SEN Teaching Assistants from January 2026 to support children with various needs across EYFS, KS1 & KS2
.
Location: Newham, London
Start Date: January 2026
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Hours: 8:30am 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £110 £ 120 per day (umbrella)
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Support communication and social interaction
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to promote pupil progress
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN
- Ability to manage behaviour and adapt to individual needs
- Passionate about inclusive education
