WhatYou Will Do
- Provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, and tax calculations for business tax clients.
- Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
- Maintain sensitive customer information securely and responsibly.
- Use government websites and professional resources to find accurate answers to customer questions.
- Interact with customers via video communication and document interactions to keep accurate records.
- Represent Intuit’s operating values, including integrity without compromise.
- Strong business tax preparation experience, with 3+ years preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065/1120‑S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season.
- Active unrestricted credential – EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
- Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week, divided into three or more days.
- Bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred; experience with service‑industry customers is also preferred.
- Possession or ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
- Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and working knowledge of Circular 230.
- Proficiency with computer operations and software, and strong interpersonal skills for video and audio communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, low‑supervision environment.
- Reliable internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria.
Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a base pay range that varies by location. The expected base pay for this position is:
- Bay Area, California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour.
- Southern California: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour.
- Colorado: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour.
- Hawaii: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour.
- Illinois: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour.
- Maryland: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour.
- Massachusetts: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour.
- Minnesota: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour.
- New Jersey: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour.
- New York: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour.
- Ohio: $34.40 – $39.56 per hour.
- Vermont: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour.
- Washington: $40.10 – $46.20 per hour.
- Washington DC: $38.20 – $43.90 per hour.
In addition, this position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
