The Connecticut Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Office of Transit & Ride sharing, is hiring one (1) Transit & Ride sharing Seasonal Worker for a seasonal assignment in Newington, CT. The role provides hands‑on experience in bus transportation operations, equipment management, construction, maintenance, and capital projects related to the statewide multimodal transit network, including the CTtransit bus system and CTfastrak. The seasonal worker will support the Battery‑Electric‑Bus (BEB) transition program and may assist in other Fleet & Customer Amenities initiatives.
Responsibilities- Assist the BEB Project Lead with BEB deployment planning.
- Support management of BEB telematics and charge‑management systems.
- Analyze telematics data and generate reports.
- Contribute to daily operations for bus transportation, equipment, construction, and maintenanceસ્થિક.
- Collaborate with a mentor and assume tasks in current projects, meetings, and day‑to‑day activities.

- Age 16 or 18, depending on the position (minimum age required).
- ilebilir students and recent graduates in transportation planning, engineering technology, program management, transportation engineering, electrical, mechanical, or construction engineering.
- Experience and training that provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed in the "Knowledge, Skills & Ability" section.
- Coursework in transportation planning, engineering technology, program management, transportation engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction engineering.
- GPA ≥ 2.5.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite and Esri’s ArcGIS Suite.
- Experience communicating with diverse populations.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team дизай.

- Experience prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of the assigned specialty.

- Must possess and retain a current Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator License to drive a bus, as applicable.
