POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Standard hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, includes half-hour lunch

THE ROLE

Providing device support, the Device Support Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop and notebook computers, tablets, peripherals, audio visual systems and keeping computer inventory updated. To maintain the computational tools that help DOT business units with traffic monitoring and preserving the safety of the traveling public, the successful incumbent needs to provide ongoing technical services to critical operations such as Construction Projects and Highway Operations.

This role will ensure that the computational systems and computer hardware will not be interrupted and will take immediate action to repair any technical issues that arise.
