Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $38-48/hr
, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Lead and perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, motors, compressors, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
- Diagnose complex equipment failures and recommend repairs and reliability improvements.
- Perform precision measurements, alignment, and balancing using technical drawings and manufacturer specifications.
- Coordinate daily assignments with management, monitor progress, and review completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Train and mentor technicians, providing hands-on guidance and troubleshooting support.
- Communicate job status and repair recommendations to customers and internal teams, and maintain accurate service records.
- Promote safe work practices and a clean, organized work environment.
- Drive a company vehicle to customer sites and support field service assignments, including overnight travel, overtime, and emergency calls as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or a formal apprenticeship preferred.
- Five or more years of rotating equipment repair, industrial maintenance, or field service experience.
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills, including proficiency with precision measuring tools, alignment, and technical drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to guide daily work, train technicians, and lead by example.
- Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills, with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to perform physical work in shop and field environments, using appropriate lifting methods and assistance.
- Valid driver's license, ability to meet company driving requirements, and availability for travel, overnight stays, and emergency service as needed.
