In this position, you will manage the day-to-day financial records for Mission Thrift Stores, ensuring all activities are recorded accurately and reports are generated on time. Collaborating closely with Store Managers, you will contribute significantly to the integrity of our financial system while promoting transparency that is central to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain vendor database and communication
• Prepare cheques and process payroll
• Collect and remit sales taxes promptly
• Prepare trial balances and financial reports
• Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• At least three years of experience in full cycle bookkeeping
• Familiarity with GAAP and financial data analysis
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in multiple accounting software programs
