Join Open Text's Revenue Recognition team as a Senior Revenue Recognition Analyst and play a key role in supporting global cloud revenue recognition activities. In this position, you'll partner with teams across Billing Operations, Sales, Deal Desk, FP&A, and Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.

• Review customer contracts and ensure revenue is recognized in compliance with ASC 606.
• Calculate percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue for professional services engagements.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to revenue recognition.
• Prepare journal entries, including SSP allocations, in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain deferred revenue schedules and perform GL account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve revenue fluctuations in partnership with Billing Operations and Finance.
• Assist with SOX testing, internal and external audits, and audit inquiries.
• Drive process improvements and perform ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.

• Exposure to global cloud and software revenue recognition operations.

• Involvement in compliance, audit, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting and/or finance experience.
• Experience with revenue recognition, preferably ASC 606.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP and Salesforce is an asset.
• Experience in the technology, software, or cloud industry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
