Position: Long Term Care Scheduling Clerk Role
Elevate Long Term Care operations with York Region as a Scheduling Clerk. Utilize your scheduling skills in a hybrid capacity to maintain staffing across shifts effectively in Newmarket, Ontario.

This role reports to the Supervisor Scheduling and Administration, tasked with coordinating a large workforce within Long Term Care services. You will utilize specialized software to manage scheduling and ensure operational continuity across various locations and shift patterns. Your contributions will enhance the quality of services for residents in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and verify staff shifts across various locations

• Maintain staff resource documentation using scheduling software

• Update schedules with staffing changes, absences, and new hires

• Support daily operations through effective scheduling practices

• Compile performance reports related to staffing needs

Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent education/experience

• Minimum of two years in employee scheduling

• Knowledge of scheduling methods and labor policies

• Good proficiency in MS Office applications and virtual tools

• Excellent communication skills to support diverse community relationships
